Try to befriend pro dizi players, so that they can give you advice. After being with them a while you'll start competing and through competing, you'll improve your skills!:D

For example, A has 3 months to master a piece. He prac 1 hour a day. But B has only 1 month but B prac 4 hours a day. = B > A

Get the best dizi possible! It will serve well:D

十五、练习时厉害，比赛时才厉害，第一名在训练场上就已经决定了

When you prac a lot, and well, you WILL do well:D

十六、模仿对手永远超越不了对手，用自己的优势跟别人交手，才可能超越他

If A's fingers very good, B's yin se very good, C's tai feng very good, if they try to imitate each other they won't get anywhere. Fa zhan on your strengths!:D

十七、每日完成设定的量化限额，才能不断前行

Make a schedule. Best is to prac for a fixed time everyday and no excuses for not prac-ing. Then your skills will improve!

十八、主动出击，才能争取到机会

If you want to do something such as befriend a pro dizi player, be FAST and be the one initiating it!:D

十九、充分休息、方法得当才能提高效率

1) MUST prac ji ben gong!
2) Rest well

二十、不断地补充知识，才能领略高处风景

Some solo pieces depict very "deep" stuff. A good soloist must have knowledge in other stuff other than dizi such as opera and poetry, or else they would not be able to understand the "deeper" solo pieces, such as 《琅琊神韵》. Go listen la, I tried, and I can't understand at all :/
