Congrats to guanyue for getting gold in East Zone competition! and congrats to dizions Phyllis Ng Tay Wan Ting Neo Yu Min Cheah Lai Teng
muahaha see you all on wed go earlier! wan ting and i will be there around 1.30pm phyllis will be there around 2pm after her lunch so other dizions can go earlier too! and lian for SYF or huibao

it's confirmed ok! we are going to settlers' cafe next fri, 5 dec on shijia's birthday! :D so everyone please bring 10 bucks and meet at holland village at 1.45 pm (i will meet u there, if u dont know how to go straight to the cafe) or meet at settlers cafe at 1.55 pm.
so far, confirmed (going): phyllis, wanting,liting,yumin ___________________________________________________________________
also, i will most probably be going for hcco interaction from 10.30 am (after my MBI debrief at NYGH) to 3 pm (got to leave early for NLB-CIP) so... ... i hope all of u will go too! :D
Hello I'm here to complain about the !@$%$#@ KAOJI!!!
Kengfang, Shijia and i had promised to reach the kaoji place at 8am, about 1 hour before our exam times, so that we could practice and tune our instruments etc. But somehow i woke up about 10-15min late and ended up leaving the house at 7.45am. (i had slept at midnight the night before)
My mum drove me there. When we were in the nafa place area, WE COULD NOT FIND CAMPUS 3~~~ My mum was driving around aimlessly... there were shopping centres and buildings which were not mentioned on the map! We passed by campus 1 and 2 but could not find campus 3. We asked around.

When i was registering at the counter outsidethe tuning room in the building located off a deserted corner, Kengfang barged out of the room, screaming, "FENNIE! DID YOU MEMORISE THE SONGS?! JUST NOW A LADY TOLD US WE HAD TO MEMORISE ALL OF THEM!" It was already like 9am and i had to memorise the songs in 16 min!
I was panicking... Nobody told us we had to memorise the songs! I practised for only about 10 min and it was Kengfang's turn! A while later i was sitting outside the examination room. Could hear Kengfang playing cai3 cha2 pu3 die3 :) When it was my turn, i played the lianxiqu first.. and all the gaoyin couldn't come out! The dimo was too tight.. i was pressing it like mad hoping it would loosen up!! But i didn't have the sprayer with me.. Luckily the examiner wasn't looking at me or I would have been even more nervous and broke the dimo.
When i tried playing again the gaoyin could come out but all of them were "xu1 de4", as what yinlao always says..
so i took mrt then take MRT all the way to bugis then i alighted and i started walking, holding the exam-provided-nafa-map in my hands then i walked walked walked then i couldnt even find myself on the map larh D:
so i called my mum then she said she also dont noe so i took cab at a taxi stand, i damn guai okay :D then the uncle brought me to campus 1 and campus 2 when i wanted to go to CAMPUS THREE! HELLO?! then i give the uncle my map t
hen he said he didnt bring his lao-hua-yan specs so he wont be able to see xD but we managed to reach finally larh :D then the exam was lyk shitt larh if i pass i will be happy gimme a borderline also can!! :D
so when i came out, i was thinking of walking back to the mrt hence i asked the guard how to walk (: then he told me how then i was lyk ORH cos i think i roughly knew how alr :D then i walked out wth larh it was raining no larh POURING! D: horrid horrid horrid so i called my mum again then she told me to take cab home so i walked to place which should be able to get taxi so i walked in between across from one kerb to the other and it was damn flooded the cars come in their tyres just disappear larh no kidding it was that flooded D:
so i walked so my jeans were drenched up to the knees D: ARGH! pissed pissed pissed!! i waited TWENTY darned minutes for a taxi okay so i obviously became more wet -.- argh! then i walked around and waited damn long for taxi then finally got one!
dont ask me HOW WAS KAOJI i will say that it was bad BUT I AM HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY its OVER!!

it is at a i've-never-been-to-before building and i had to take a taxi there from mrt interchange cos i didnt know where it was -.- YOU MUST BE THERE ON TIME i reached and was an awesome 45 mins early so i thought i had alot of time to prac but some person pulled out/changed timing so i was told that i would have my kaoji earlier. then you will enter a room which is like tiao yin room where many other people of different instrus (CO instrus) tune/prac their songs. don't be intimidate just concentrate on tiao yin despite the horrid background disruption. calm down, and dont panic like i did
and before you know it, someone will call u out (like see doctor like that! xD) and bring u to another room (sound proof i reckon) and there will be a lao uncle invigilator sitting at a table facing a chair and stand. you greet the invigilatorwalk (with your dizi) to the stand. do not sit anw, pamela sat but nothing happened -.- but we were taught not to sit xD so do not sit. then u stare at the invigilator and wait for something like a cue to begin.
then u blow and blow! (dont remember if its lian xi qu or kao ji qu first) then next song, etc. when u are done, just wait for the invigilator to say something (comments, etc) and say thank you then u leave the room.
at the end of it, be happy that its over and not be depressed over some bars which u screwed up cos it's over!
Remember 24 Nov prac is cancelled. Don't go to school and find that no one is there!
East Zone Competition Wed 26 Nov Dunman High (temporary campus near ny) 欢乐的夜晚 by another few CO mates! (8:10am) 快乐的节日 by guan yue! (9:20am) For those participating: The bus is leaving school at 7:10am so make sure you reach latest 6:55am!
JIAYOU people for kaoji on sunday! Only mine is on monday ._. haha at least i got 1 more day to chiong

its a cafe to play board games and i suggest we go to the holland branch cos i've been there before and the staff and environment were good (: it will cost each person less than 10 bucks for 4 hours of games and theres free flow of drinks!

fri, 5 dec
it is veryvery value for money. so leave a tag at the TB if u want to go and i can make a reservation!

There will be Xiaozu (which laoshi will be coming) on: 2008 Wed 19 nov 4:30-6pm Mon 24 Nov 1-5pmcancelled Wed 3 Dec 4:30-6pm Thurs 11 Dec 1-5pm Mon 29 Dec 9:30am-4pm Tues 30 Dec 9am-12pm
2009 Every Wed 4:30-6pm
All of these will be held in the Music Studio (3rd floor).
Don't forget there's also the original schedule of practises ie Tues and Thurs.
Also, our choice piece will be 春, which means we really need to buck up!
It WILL be tough, but...
we must be strong as a section (in all aspects)! I believe we can do it :) (Yes I mean it)
